Stonewall Farm Annual Art Auction The 2010 Annual Art Auction will be Saturday May 8 from 6PM to 10PM with a preview and opening reception Friday April 9 from 5PM to 7PM.
The Preview & Opening Reception are free and open to the public. An opportunity to view the art in the auction and meet the artists, as well as enjoy refreshments and good company! 40% of the sale price of all art from the auction will benefit our educational programs. Each year an artist is chosen who donates a piece of art for our raffle, which is featured in our publicity. We are happy to have David Bulger as our raffle artist this year. His piece, entitled "The Girls, Sunning" is our featured raffle piece. It is a 19.5" x 23.5" oil on canvas. Raffle tickets are available for purchase at the Stonewall Farm Office or by calling (603) 357-7278 ext 104.
A special feature of our Annual Art Auction is the sale of paintings done en plein air on our grounds the week before the auction. The 2008 auction featured a trapeze artist as entertainment, the audience was wowed by Alisan Funk as seen in this YouTube video.
